cultivate::DioCal is a project of the Episcopal Diocese of California to cultivate sustainable food systems, food justice, and spiritual community in the Bay Area.
Goals:
-increase the visibility of existing projects and stimulate new community gardens in DioCal parishes
-build community through urban and suburban farming
-foster spiritual renewal through connection to the earth and neighbors
-promote the knowledge, skills, and infrastructure needed to create healthy, sustainable, and just food systems
-demonstrate new modes of collaboration through the framework of Area Ministry
